Anyone ever "delete" the dpf on a tractor?

Now on real note, looks like the ecu tuning options are growing by leaps and bounds in the AG world. Now that Tier4 has been around a while, these system are failing as expected. This scheme is designed for a ~100k in cars, not much longer in Semis. I figure I can clean mine a couple of times before it fails, then a $2k ecu mod is about same as replacement parts.

We do too!
We considered looking at other states that are similar terrain, countryside and lifestyle to see if any may be more "retirement friendly", like OK, KY, TN, AR but with the Grandkids the Wife wants to be within an hour, maybe 2 from them.

I'm here by choice, land was still reasonable if you get away from any town over 1000, and buy some acreage. Bad news is we have drought, heat, flood and cold most years. Few years ago we no real rain for 8 months, pond was down about 8 foot (about 100 acre feet of water) and the first real rain filled it along with going over secondary spillway with god knows how much more water. This year we were water logged until June but only about an inch or 2 since then mostly in 2 massive down pours. NOW it's too hot to work.
Could be worse I could still be flying up to NY to work...

Absolutely, and I might just end up like that. Except I have no neighbors to spy on for the feds, nor do know anyone well enough. My grandkid may be considered a local down the road, I'll always be an outsider.

I had to click on your location as I had never heard of that town. I grew up in Stoutland. Dad is just outside Lebanon, I have 2 stepsons in Lebanon and I have a few Cousins in/around Lebanon, some in Waynesville and some in Independence. We are planning to move back near Lebanon in about 5 years when I retire. Wife wants to be around her boys and grandkids, 2nd one just born in June and 3rd is due around March. I hope my Dad is still around then, he's 87 now but still going pretty strong.

Never. I think it is not necessary. Perhaps it is not correct, but on this day I have everything well.
