How heavy are your wheel eights? I have two sets a side as well, but yours stick out more; dealer said I could only use three each side, but I don't need it.
The weights are listed as 103# each and Kubota does show that three sets are the maximum recommended for that tractor, but I don't always follow all the rules, heck, I didn't always color within the lines as a kid. Now that I think about it, I used to play with tractors as a kid and I still play with tractors...hmmm! To add the additional weights just buy the weights and a bolt kit, works great.
My 3pt feedback rod was apparently mis-adjusted when I got my L4060. Listed the 3pt, then the loader all but stopped working. Dealer promptly figured it out & fixed it. Not entirely clear how that worked unless the 3pt is before the loader in the power beyond loop. And usually the 3pt is the last part. At any rate it hasn't been a problem since.Could you explain the misadjustment of the three point mechanism? I do not understand? Thanks....
We must have our wheels set differently. We fix flats on ours too, but we still put fluid in. Now when we get one on our M8540 we call a service truck; just one flat and we decided, naw too old. As time passes, we'll probable take the tire off and trailer it to the dealer.
Here are the steps I got.
Do you find the steps on the right side useful? After 55 years of driving tractors I don稚 ever remember getting out on the right side.
Technically you could get in from the right side on the cabbed Grands, but as a practical matter not really. The loader joystick is in the way as well as the HST go pedal. I'm not sure if I've really ever used the right step. I use the right door plenty when starting the machine or hitching things up, but not to get in or out of.We get it, your Fords are obviously better than any Kubota.
If you're limber enough the right loader arm makes a good handle, although that's probably easier to do on the rops model. I tend to get in on whatever side is closest to the house.
