Yeah, I bet it would..I doubt the pressure rise is anything near 2000, I am thinking more like 200 maybe less.
I usually hook the hoses together on my attachments that require hydraulics. To do this test would I have to do that or could I remove a quick disconnect and put the guage on?
I would think you would want to build it like this: first existing connector. new connector of proper type/sex Pipe T with top of T going to gauge.....new connector of proper type/sex... other existing connector.
