Tools required.
Rotary Hammer - I have a Bosch
5/8" SDS Carbide Tip bit
10 3/4" Feathers and Wedges
1 good size shedge hammer

I used a generator to get power to the rock and
my BX to move the pieces around.
Total time was under two hours.

I'm far from an expert but I will say that after
a couple of rocks like this, you start to learn
to "read the rock".

Last one,
Out of sequence,
Rock was too heavy for the BX
so I halved it a couple of times. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Interesting!

I'm always the last to know...but what is the difference between a "feather" and a "wedge?"

I think I know what a wedge is...but never heard the term feather... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
