Thanks,
I am planning on putting a heater in the cab but I want to wait until I have it done before I order one. I think I am going to buy it from sportsimportsltd.com 12, 24, 36, 48 & 72 Volt Auxiliary Heaters & Blankets I bought one from them to put in the skid steer at work and it works very well. I hand built the one for our other skid steer but it does not work well because the fan I use is not big enough.

Thats the same fan I used in the skid steer. maybe if I used two it work better. It is supose to move 106cfm. Let me know if it works for you and if it does I will upgrade that heater.

Cool. I'll take #2 off the assy line.

Do some snowblowing with the tractor. That'll give you all the motivation you need.

I know you said you were going to remove it for summer work, but have you thought about putting a small RV A/C unit on it and keeping it on for summer work (which would provide good protection against those swarms of yellowjackets we all know and love so much, not to mention operator comfort...)

I would love to do this but my main problem is that I use the tractor to mow my lawn and I think the cab will be in the way when mowing around trees. Do you have pics of the a/c unit you are talking about? I am picturing a unit that sits on top of the roof.

You're picturing what I'm picturing. Basically, it'd look like the optional A/C units of the Laurin cabs- mounts on roof, but fairly low.
