To get it out of the dump trailer I have ssqa pallet forks, have lifted bigger weights than that.

I was also curious what was in the boxes, see photos.

Nice work, not sure what the 2ed photo is, voltage reg maybe ?

The upper box is engine related stuff. The bottom box is generator stuff. In the bottom box, the gizmo on the right side is the regulator. The left side is the terminals for connecting the load.

The left side, wires way to small for the load, should come from the alt directly I would think, lets think,,, hope you got my PM's

Power has gone out every other day for the last week. Heavy rains although wind not too bad. But this is often the pattern in the winter. The Kubota generator is in my garage in Sacramento where the power is good, and I am on the 3500w Craftsman here on the north coast where the power is bad. Seriously thinking about rigging up a temporary hookup while I work on the shed. Of course it has to stop raining so I can do that. Rain in the forecast all next week.

Rain every day, sometimes a lot. Need at least a week with no rain for the ground to dry out enough to start on the shed.

I read up on the Dynagen and Deep Sea genset controllers. Have to have a degree in computer science and another in electrical engineering. Plus another bucket of money. I plan to stick with the manual transfer I already have, and maybe add analog gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, RPM.

Am also giving some thought to configuration of a breaker and outlet panel for the alternator.
