BH75 Piston broke, twice! Design problem??

I never knew how it failed until I reviewed the tape. In bends in line with the user' sight so it is not seen until you extend and hear it squeek.

Just got a call from Kubota. The engineers are bringing up a new backhoe tomorrow and swapping mine out. They said they tested this one thoruoghly (sp?). Lets hope this one works better, it is supposed to rain this weekend, but if it is dry, I'll post my experiences.

I really love the tractor, it is a real workhorse, I should post more pictures of theheavy work I've done. I just need to get this ditch dug.

One question. Have you noticed bubbles in the fluid or is it white?

Bubbles? Where and when do I look? THere is a sight glass but I've never look at it while operating.

This is all about a poorly selected cylinder size/strength for the application. A machine for this market should not be capable of self-destructing like this without EXTREME abuse (which is not shown in the video.).

I can't get it to work. Any suggestions? I just get the quicktime icon. I have quicktime, but when I right click on the icon it shows the plug in which may be the problem.

Any help would be appreciated, I would like to watch the movies too /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif besides I just popped some popcorn /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I had to download it and run it as an application, not a plug-in. Right click the link and do a "save as". Then double click it on your local drive.

You may try right clicking on the link and choosing "save target as" this downloads the file to your computer. At that point you can use windows media player to open/play it.

Mine did the same. Go to your temporary internet files and copy the file to another folder then access it. Worked for me, don't know why.

Video pauses about 1/2 way through, but the bending is shown.

I don't know if you could see bubbles in the sight glass or not. It they are real bad you can see them on the dip stick if you check just as soon as you turn the tractor off. You can also use a suction gun and take some out of the fill plug or drain some out of the bottom. If it is hyper aerated it will disable the relief valve, at times.
