Every 300 hr is a long time to remember not to put a funnel in where the hydrostatic fluid goes and then pour from the 5 gallon bucket.
The last time I did that I had as mess on the floor as the air can't escape the compartment. Yesterday the same thing about a half gallon of oil on the floor.
Next time I do an oil change it will be the same most likely. If in the event I do remember this, is there a faster way to get the oil in rather then using a 1lb margarine container?

I just did this. Huge funnel, looked something like this one but not sure if it's the same. If you have any other fill port (my Kubota has one on the transmission between your legs, and one with vent by the 3-point top link) open that too.

The only issue I had was pouring the old stuff back into the 5-gallon bucket. To speed things up (plus it was cold), I inserted the funnel along with a steel rod between the funnel neck and the opening on the 5 gallon bucket, which allowed air to escape... greatly speeding up the process. You could do the same on the tractor.
