Building a Green House.

Polycarbonate? I can't view your pictures, as they are too big for my internet speed. Do they look like translucent corrugated cardboard?
Thanks,
I don't remember the name of the panels. I'll find out and post later.

Pretty much, yes. Same shape/profile as the metal.

Nice job.

What type of translucent panels did you use?

Wife and I are putting together a little plastic covered greenhouse made from a recycled portable car shelter, and were thinking of making the ends solid eventually.
Here's a picture of the sticker on the panels.

Sorry it took so long, I forgot to take a picture every time I was in the barn. :)

It's been lots of work but finally have the greenhouse up and running.
We got a late start because we found out about 6 weeks ago my oldest son had kidney cancer. So we have been dealing with that.
Glad to report the kidney has been removed and he is recovering just fine. Currently the Surgeon says he is cancer free.
Here's some pictures of our progress.
The pictures are out of order. The sand went on top of the weed barrier then the bio matter. The first three pictures should be at the end.
I did put in the mandatory tractor picture, that's how I filled the wheel barrow. Lots easier than shoveling.

Sorry to hear about your son. Is he the one who put the video together of your barn build?

I saw YouTube planters where they put rocks in bottom, cloth, than dirt. They have a fill tube into the rock level and put water in the rock layer, with an overflow at top of rocks. They just keep rocks full of water, which wicks up to the plants.

VERY VERY NICE - I like most of your projects. Just one suggestion, and I don't know if that will be of value for you. I have to watering controllers. I changed both of them to Rachio 3 controllers. Mainly because one is at the house and one is at the lake. They have been excellent permitting me to monitor them from anywhere. With an overflow sensor, it may help with the water level consistency. It does require wifi which would require a cable to the house. Might not be worth the trouble, especially if you are home most of the time.
Very nice work. Thanks for all the photos.
