bush hog gear box level

I just bought a bush hog sq172 and want to make sure I am adding the correct amount of gear oil, there is a bolt on side w/ allen wrench head (shown in picture), do I remove this and fill till oil comes to bottom? It just looks low on gear box and wanted to make sure this is correct, thanks.
