Considering buying 5' three point disk.for b7800 dealer thought
That was good for it to pull. What to think? Will use it on some ground
i took off about 8" dirt has trash and rock in it. Did not want tear up the
tiller. And have some areas in 4 acres that rough spots holes. Dirt good Ks.
black clay soil.Hard in summer works pretty good when moist.Do think running
Disk then dragging till smooth will work with plowing. Some bermuda fescue
grasses.Thanks for the advise Framer.

Yes a 5' disk will work just fine behind your B7800.

I use a 5.5 foot disk behind my B2710, no problem. Haven't used it since I got my tiller, but plan to use it again in a couple of months.

Has any one made 3 point drag harrow. Wondering if it works as well pull
pull behind.Have small areas to smooth out it would be nice to lift and back up.
Thanks Framer.

Here's one. Kinda pricey both just to get a drag harrow and the part to make it a 3 point but you might get some ideas for building one.

Check out the formulas here for HP requirements. You can determine HP required to pull a certain implement or HP required to till a certain acreage in a specified time. Dont know how old this data is but it should at least be a good estimate

When we farmed, we used to use a 3-pt. 6-row row-disc (hipper) and pull a drag behind it to know down rows for planting. It was literally a rectangle frame with 1-1/4" pipe with drag teeth welded facing down. It was pretty heavy to spread 20+ feet but worked well. You may not be able to back up but you could disk and drag at the same time.

Yes they are expensive but they work well. I have a 8 ft standard harrow with the 3pt frame.
