chainsaw chains

Yes that is a "MALL" with 42" bar. A "Mall 2MG" to be exact. It weighs about 30 pounds. Actually just picked it up and have to see what it needs. Quite Nostalgic to have a saw over 50 years old. Not high RPM's but a **** of a lot of torque. No gas or oil in her for a while so the pics on the oval rug in the family room were just for pictures sake. The wife wasn't happy with me buying more so called Junk but I like Nostalgic Stuff.

That Mall was either made in NY or Conn. I think that you will find that it is geardrive to the chain. Clean it up and keep it for show. I had an old Homelite that I actually used but finally hung it up. Pretty near needed a set of dolly wheel just to get it to the wood pile.

Thanks for all the input on chainsaw chains. Does anyone out there have an outside wood furnace, or boiler. How do you like it? We have an outside wood furnace in a home made house, with lots of electrical monitoring devices. We monitor outside air temp, inside the furnace building, outgoing air temp, flue temp, with a security camera so we can read the information from inside the house. We're now looking on controlling the flue temp from inside the house. It already runs on a thermostat from inside the house, but we are having trouble keeping the flue temp appropriate. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Yugo
P.S. Yes, we still drive a Yugo - 15 years plus!

What you really need is a dedicated computer programmed to interpet the monitor signals and make the proper adjustments to controls to keep all within specified parameters and give an alarm if all is not proper.

Always thought "The Dog House" was just beside the drilling rig.

I never seen an outdoor boiler set up like that. What does it do blow hot air into the house and pull the cold air back?
