Chucke2009

I watched one or two of his early videos and just didn't like him, so I never watched any after that.

In my opinion Chuckie has reached his breaking point with what is going on in this country. I doubt there is a person here who doesn't agree with some of his points.
Illegals voting, Illegals getting drivers licenses, illegals getting more in money and benefits that veterans.
Obama bringing in thousands od Somalians then they get together and elect a woman who married her brother to cheat the immigration laws.
Another leader that poses as an Indian to get benefits others denied.
Rich Hollywood parents scamming the system for their kids.
And the big one, what these people did to Trump by spying on him and getting away with it.

The bigger question if this stuff doesn't bother you - then why not?

I may not agree 100% with Chuckie but I give him credit for ringing the bell and standing by his morals.

All valid points. Remember after 9/11, you would be challenged to find a house that wasn't flying the American flag. What happened to our patriotic attitude. I don't know but something happened and it doesn't matter what we just need to fix it. I hold my tongue because it is senseless to get into arguments with extreme leftist people. I'll make my feeling heard in the voting booth.

That is where it counts the most Bob.

My response won’t be as polished and thoughtful as others, but here it goes

I seem to be one of the few people that haven’t been watching him for years. I’m roughly his age and subscribed about 3 years ago when I just started getting into welding for myself (hobby). I was instantly drawn in by his information and entertainment value tied up together. I have never really been a “fan” of a celebrity of any kind but I pretty quickly became a “fan” of his.

In all honesty, he has been a huge positive influence in my life. I have watched most of his videos. I have become a better welder because of him and even dedicated a lot more of my time to working, developing my talents, and learning as much about mechanical repairs, tools, equipment, agriculture, and other things, as I can. And I can attribute a lot of that to him.

It’s been really disappointing to see him throw away everything he built. I looked forward to his videos every day.

I don’t disagree on some of his views about the indoctrination of children, the slippery slope of accepting homosexuality (ok that’s not exactly what he is saying but anyway...). The need to secure our borders and have better control over immigration... Anyway, where I stop agreeing with him is with his white supremacy and anti Jew comments. I’m interested in preserving our culture as Americans, and I think it’s important, but the color of the skin of those “practicing” that culture is pretty much irrelevant to me.

I’m not unsubscribing or getting really upset over it. I’m just disappointed. I’ll miss his content, his knowledge, life lessons, and so on.

As I saw someone else put it on another forum (not exact but close) “you don’t counter the extreme left by being extreme right”. I hope he realizes this some day and can continue on.

You darn tooten. I like everything you said but to be fair, you left out one group of people - the extreme right.
Like DerekF said “you don’t counter the extreme left by being extreme right”.

Well said... I fall pretty much in line with you... I'm a little older but appreciated his skills and his tackling a variety of projects.

Actually kind of stopped watching as he ventured into farming and didn't catch his ranting videos until made aware of them here. Watched a few and I'm disappointed as well... haven't been back.

Like DerekF said 土ou don稚 counter the extreme left by being extreme right?
Well you have a point. But realistically the extreme left outnumbers the extreme right by 100 to 1.
If you look at what the democrats are trying to do regarding immigration, "free stuff" and their agenda as a whole, the extreme left pretty much describes their party's agenda.
The extreme right is a political faction at best...oddly enough it is they who get all the negative press. Their numbers are miniscule.
You may as well include the main stream media as part of the extreme left.

My memory on laying down good welds isn't what it was. I'm into a project where I especially need strong good looking beads. One of the first online instructors I've pulled up is that humble kid in Ohio who helped me brush up on my welding skills several years ago. I sure miss that kid.

Chucke2009 has given a lot of good welding advice. I have viewed his videos and his attitude and comical approach makes them fun to watch. And yes I think he is a very good welder.
I had not watched any of his political videos until it was brought up here. I watched some of it. Though I do not necessarily agree with his comments I know that he has the right to make them.
I will continue to watch his welding videos from time to time.....most likely I won't bother with the others.
I know many of us here are strong willed and have opinions that others do not agree with. So what?
That's the beauty of freedom. You can agree or disagree with anyone you want.

Amen. I disagree with some of his views, however I support his right to express them.

I’ll take an extreme right person over an extreme left person any day.

Some facts are difficult to disagree with, esp those rock-solid statistics and thoroughly vetted National Averages.

Good thing we boomers hid all the money before we had to share it with the young commies, eh?

All these things being said, I don't know how a person's race or country of origin makes them less than I or anyone else.

Money’s safe and fine. My memory not so much...

All these things being said, I don't know how a person's race or country of origin makes them less than I or anyone else.

It's all about math.
Look at percentages of certain race or country of origin that breaks thae law.

When that certain race or country of origin has a higher percentage as a group in prison or is on federal aid by higher numbers per captita or does certain illegal activities it's human nature to either avoid or discriminate against that race or country of origin.

Now having said that, it shouldn't be that way and it does not apply to ALL people of a certain race or country of origin but thte fact is numbers don't lie.

If purple people were in prison by an overwhelming number per capita wouldn't YOU avoid purple people? If a religious group of green people were responsible for nearly all of a certain type of crime would you want to associate with those green people. Granted not ALL green people or not ALL purplr people do what the larger percetage per capita of purplr and green people do but if you have a choice of beinhg with orange people who commit a very small percetage per capita of evil deeds or with green and purple people who as a group are responsible for an overwhelming number of eveil deeds.

Ideally everyone wants to be kumbaya with every person on the planet but reality sinks in. There are many, many stories of people trying to prove the world should be kumbaya.

"鉄he thought that in the world there were more positive than negative people, and that it was right to be trusting, said Rosalia Pasqualino, a sister of Ms. Bacca, whose real name was Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo. 典rust is a very human factor, and she believed that to understand people, you had to get to know them.納/U]

Pippa Bacca, an Italian Artist Killed During Performance Trip for Peace, Is Mourned - The New York Times

MY point basicly is the world should be one way way but unfortunately if you want to be safe you stay far far away from the people that have a high percentage of evil doers.
This is what happens when you try and force kumaya on people that are in that high percentage group.

Muslim extremists in Syria torture, rape Christian woman for 9 hours before stoning her to death - The Christian Post

Could these people been killed of rodo drive of on time square, you betcha, but again it's all about percentages.

"Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples - while judging ourselves by our best intentions. And this has strained our bonds of understanding and common purpose. But Americans, I think, have a great advantage. To renew our unity, we only need to remember our values. We have never been held together by blood or background. We are bound by things of the spirit by shared commitments to common ideals. George W. Bush

I like Chucke, but IMO percentages are just dirty statistics, easily leveraged to make sense to those with blinders on. I consider volume instead, like a wave vs a tsunami. It's not whether its fresh water or sea water, your s__ gets flooded and ruined. Obviously white males cause all the trouble, and that I'm one is just a matter of dumb luck.

btw, have you ever seen what kind of housekeepers those horse people are. Everybody BUT Cat_Driver, please relate your own personal experience with non-WASPs. Kumbaya, racists, you'll always have each other. :)
