Not for me. After trying a rear discharge in dry grass, I found I prefer blowing the clippings rather as opposed to inhaling them, or wearing them on windy days.
I actually removed the steel chute and I found a plastic Exmark chute to use for now. Will try to find something else better soon.

It would be pretty simple job to add a full width "mudflap" or 5 - 6" high rubber skirt in the rear edge of rear discharge deck.

It would be pretty simple job to add a full width "mudflap" or 5 - 6" high rubber skirt in the rear edge of rear discharge deck.

I am still working in between 12 hour days and passing out to sleep, but plan to either do a cable controlled flap (if available) or a simple rubber flap.
A rear discharge deck is in the rear view mirror now, so I gotta roll with what I got.
