Drive looks very nice. Did you add a new piece of equipment for cutting pavers? If you still have pavers to lay next April. I will be glad to help. I will follow you in the Golf Cart for your 3 mile run though. The way Betty's knee is healing she may do the run with you. :D

My new equipment ($199 with coupon) from Harbor freight - already paid for it's self. Tell Betty I'll stay in shape so I can keep up with her. Hopefully I will be finished by then but you never know I already have misjudged how long this project will take by 2 years.

David, I just might take you up on that if you can wait till next summer and that meal is no oil/vegan.

Don, you're my hero. Anybody who can put in pavers like that and then run three miles before working on a water main leak 'til midnight should have a place on a hero pedestal. The fact that you're doing it after a heart attack only 1-1/2 years ago is unbelievable. Heck, you're so good that if you were riding in the Tour de France, they'd accuse you of doping.;) As far as I'm concerned, you've got the "TBN yellow jersey" for as long as you want to keep it.

Don, I agree with what Jim said, and the driveway looks wonderful!! The thing that impresses me the most is what your doing with your "second chance" The "project" you've taken on is more than most guys on their "first chance" want to tackle!!

Don,

I'll cook you whatever you want with the caliber of your work...

Seriously I think I want to consult with you about how to build my outdoor kitchen paver patio...

Beautiful work sir.

Okay, one double-final dumb idea. . . You might add a compass rose in the Q-section. It would normally be in the center, but I doubt Karen would let you cut down that tree.

UPDATE: Last 2 pictures taken today.

Here is the Quote that cost me 3 months! See progress below! Jim the "dumb" idea will be the focal point of the drive, it is looking good! The circle and directional arrow/points are cut in, I will continue to lay and cut in pavers around the points. The white block border will highlight the points.
(The final alignment and leveling will be done right before the polymer sand is applied.)
(And yes Ron the direction alignment was made with the assistance of the iPhone, +-1 degree)

Great job. Hows the saw holding up?
I just noticed that you have grass growing where pavers were stored.

The Harbor Freight wet tile saw is still happily slicing away. I'm on my 3rd diamond blade. The blade lasted a long time on the clay pavers but on the cement white blocks it wore away fast. I had to cut the 12" white cement blocks in thirds to the get the right size white border strip.

The green in the middle is month old Crimson Clover. Hopefully by the time I'm finished the middle will be a red spring surprise.

Nice looking job Don! I did some paver walkways and that's about all my patience can handle.

Cold and rainy, 39 temps are supposed to drop into the low 30's by dark with an up to an inch of wet snow this afternoon and evening! This is November 7 on the Eastern Shore, the very earliest laying snow I have seen since moving here in 1973 was Nov.12 1987.

Don, that's proof that if I come up with enough dumb ideas, every once in awhile, I'll throw out a gem.:D You've surely made something people will comment about and you'll be proud of for a long time. It's icing on the cake!
