CK25 will not start

Thank you very much. From the shop manual the hardest part looks to be removing the intake manifold to get the IP out. Tight spaces.

So, finally purchased a new IP. Had a friend help remove the old one. Installed the new one and still nothing. A question we have is the slide (indicated by the arrow in photo) suppose to move freely back and forth when the pump is out of the housing. With the new one installed we had the stop solenoid removed and the idle adjust removed and tried moving the slide back and forth. It did a little but not as much as expected. Today we will remove the new pump and try to get that slide to move freely. Are these things suppose to be lubricated before installing? Not sure why the new pump is not working. It was dropped ship from the supplier.

This has been frustrating. As always thanks for all your help and knowledge.

WE GOT IT RUNNING !!!. Removed the new IP. WD40'd the heck out of the slide. banged it back and forth a bit. Add more WD40 until it freely slid back and forth with no resistance. put it back together. before putting it totally back together we kept the manual shutoff cover off and turn the key on to see if the place guide moved. It did. So we put it all back together and started her up.

I have lots of work that has been piling up waiting for the tractor to be fixed.

Econ, Thanks for the feedback. Any clue why the replacement IP was so tight before you fixed it?

Is this a photo of the new pump or old one just for reference? If it is the new one, it does appear to have that nice film of oil all over that i'm used to seeing when I open a new pump, comes out fo the box wrapped in plastic with film of oil on it.
