Sodama: how many acres do you own? in between you and the view is that one owner or do you own all the way to the water? only asking cause my sound view I bought when we moved in 30+ years ago has a few trees in it now cause neighbors won't top them.

that place looks like my dream cause I'd love a huge shop with some land and a view!!

thanks for sharing and best of luck on the carport build. i'm only a novice welder, but happy to hear you aren't welding your galvanized pieces together and hoping the bolt patterns all match up.

Thanks guys. Lived many places in the world, but to me this is it. When the day comes, I want my ashes spread down at our pet cemetery - those bushes in the rainbow pic, Eddie reposted.

Drives, 21.08 acres. Many parcels to our front and rear, the most near are 20 acre with 20 acre Ag zoning. Most in our view plane already have a house. We do have a clump of tall eucalyptus as seen just to right and I purposely site house behind them. Being at 1100 elevation and 73 years old, I think our view is safe for awhile.

My shop is on the small side, more tool storage, but my major tools like table saw and drill press are dolly mounted so I can maneuver for better space. I have a bit of workable space in the tractorshed, but most larger projects get done outside. I have lots of concrete space to work on, just need to reorganize from time to time.

Those corners are rounded, but there are brackets to square up.
