I'll consider this thread tonight when I go out after midnight looking for the meteor shower!
A scene from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" comes to mind...encountered with a sword fight Harrison Forde pulls out his gun and shoots (i.e. "I ain't got time for this"). An earlier western comedy that I forgot about involved a discussion of "rules" before a gun-fight...a swift kick to the jewels (i.e. "there are no rules") ended that fight.

Always bring a gun to the fight
No straight down from Nashville.Ozley, are you anywhere near Cookeville, TN?

It certainly appears there are more of these critters than anybody cares to admit. I know the world seems smaller with the communication we have nowadays but I had no idea they were within 1000 miles of me except for the Florida Panthers which don't seem to be migrating north anyway so never gave those any thought. We do have an over abundance of deer so I guess it's just a matter of time. Just like the coyote slowly coming into the area and now they are everywhere. Mother Nature has control.
