This comming spring I in tend to purchase a compact tractor... I have around 4 acres of field/grass to cut.. plus I need to do some front end loading ... I NEED 4WD beacuse it gets pretty soggy in some areas... I have around 600 ft of creek that has misc. scrap trees that need to be pulled out because they are blocking the flow of the creek. my father likes the John Deere 2305 and I am leaning towards the kubota B7600 or the new B2630. I want to make the best decision possible. Please help... when I buy I do intend of purchasing the FEL and Backhoe. please point me in the right direction. The reason behind staying on these two particular brands is that the dealership that sells them is only 2 miles away!

As a side note I want the tractor to be able to have the mid mower deck on when the FEL and backhoe are on. I do not want to have to keep taking the implements on and off all the time.

Welcome to TBN. You may want to fill out your profile -- at least where you are located because many answers to questions depend on your location.

Just an FYI, TBN frowns upon Cross Posting.

Wondering why you limited your self to those 2-3 particular tractors?

There's a ground clearance difference between the Kubota tractors and the 2305, if it's like the 2210. The 4010 or 4110 are more equal in ground clearance to the Kubota ones you're looking at. Think the 4110 is being replaced by the 2520. There's a posting with a picture of it. I may have the numbering not quite right.

Well, there's the NH line, the Simplicity, the MF and Kioti. Just to name a few.

I think you will change your mind soon about having all the implements on all the time. The backhow and FEL while mowing will become a major nuisance and the weight of everything won't be good while mowing.

i understand that ... i mean i dont want to have to remove the mid mower deck... taking the FEL on and off as well as the Backhoe is not a problem... i do not want to cut the grass with the FEL and backhoe on ... but am i going to be able to have all three implements on at the same time... ie. trailering?

i agree with NATURAL having all the attachents on at the same time can e PIA the MMM can be especially tough when doing work where ground clearence is critical.plus the BH on the back when not needed just adds weight and can be a problem when working in close quarters.

You can have all 3 attachment on a B2630. The MMM must be pinned up before BH is installed. You do not mention what size MMM you are looking at. When I purchased my B2910 with 72" MMM I had to look for a wider trailer. With discharge chute up it has only a couple of inches clearance on my 84" wide trailer deck.

This is also possible on the 7610 when using a Woods backhoe.

About a month ago I was trying to choose as well. The major turnoff I had with the 2305 is the 4 hydraulic hoses hanging down below the framerail on the passenger side. They are the price paid for having the 4-way valve on the tractor and not on the loader bracket.

Another thing I didn't like is that Deere charges over $500 for the FEL "kickstands"; they are included on the Kubota.

Just a couple more thoughts...

I have never had the FEL BH or MMM off mine.
Like you I don't like constantly playing musical implements.
In fact I would like to have a Kubota BX1500 with a front blade and a rear mounted Tiller which I would leave on it all the time too.
Right now I'm using a 1966 Bolens with a front blade and a 1967 Bolens with a rear mounted tiller
which I leave on both Bolenses to accomplish these 2 task.
The reason I'd like to up grade to a BX1500 is because it would be nice to have 4 wheel drive power steering and hydraulics for the tiller and front blade.

After 39 years of using a Bolens Tractor with a MMM front blade and a tiller and having to switch attachments every time I went to do something because it always had the wrong implement on it for doing what I wanted to do at the time you might say attachment switching became very old to me.

I love the set up and find no problems with leaving these attachments on all the time.

i had a jd2210 with 210 loader and 62c mmm. when mowing i just dropped qa bucket off. when using fel with mmm still attached you will have to raise the 3ph about every 5-10 minutes as it slowly bleeds down and mmm and ballast will drop. i have a b3030 now and remove deck (about 5 minutes) for serious loader work but leave it on for everything else. 3ph does not bleed down on it. dealer told me vast majority of mmm mower problems he sees is from fel work with mmm still attached.
