Separately I read a chilled baked potato has significantly reduced carbs. These 2 reports seem to be on the same theme. Cold temperatures reduce the carbs?
So I googled.

Does freezing food reduce carbs?

‍Also prepare, freeze and reheat meals makes you ingest fewer carbs. This process of freezing and reheating changes the molecular structure of the carbs (starch) in such a way that the starch is being transformed into a resistant form your body cannot absorb.

if i am looking for a magical cure for anything, we can certainly find it on the internet. Me, I have never counted carbs but i do watch my BG. Sticking to basics is what we all need, give or take. Eat vegetables, grains, nuts and fruits, then less of meats. Meat aren't bad, but to much is. Move around some, move around more and you can even eat more. Its that simple.

Thank you, I'm not looking for magic.
Hopefully somebody has something to add.
It would seem they are say freezing any food reduces its digestibility - so less carbs are taken in when it is eaten.
Curious.

It would most likely thaw out in your mouth and most certainly by the time it reached your stomach and then by the time it reaches your many feet of intestines you can rest assured it is no longer in a frozen state.

They did imply you eat the bread frozen. They said freezing the bread made it less digestible even after thawing it and toasting it. Google it.

Sticking to basics is the trick whether it was froze and then thawed if you like. Eat vegetables, grains, nuts, fruits and moderate the meats. Watch your BG (blood glycogen).

Based on our notes. Carbs are carbs. Doesn't matter thawed frozen or fresh. How they affect you though will be different from person to person. We carb count and adjust as needed. Keep meals simple. We now have several years of data to back that up. I know how my exwife cooks and based on years worth of data can say there is an issue with counting, math, portion control, not knowing what is in the pot or a combination of all 4.
