Diesel prices?

Diesel still at $2.29, gas has jumped 21 cents per gallon in the last 2 days, from $1.249 to $1.459. Probably a result of the local newspaper reporting that this area had the 2nd lowest gas prices in the nation last week.

Diesel was at 2.54 yesterday when I filled up. The price has kinda leveled off at this point.

Hot dang it! Aren't you in California?? I'm in the middle of the Midwest and on road is still $2.49 here.

I've noticed through out this thread that our on road diesel is pretty good compared to most other places, but our regular gas is still higher than most. Don't know why that is?

Our off road diesel is at $1.88. I recently discovered I cold get it where I get my propane, which is $1.73 a gallon now. I'm on a propane route so I get a 10 cent a gallon discount. I have to drive to their yard to get the diesel though.

You sure blow the socks off of the theory that everything is more expensive in California! Now I do have some business associates who live in the Bay Area, Napa and Sac and they pay some pretty high prices though. I keep forgetting that California is like five times the size of my state. People can say what they want, but I travel to California several times a year and I think it has some of the most natural beauty I've seen anywhere in the world.

$1.88 is cheaper than i can get it out here. The lowest quote I got for 150 gallons was $2.14 per, over 2 weeks ago though, might be cheaper now.
