The current plot is 40x136'. Yes, more ground will be opened up as we go. This first plot is 1/8 acre to get going for 2025. Next year we can plan better.
Crops - vegetables, squash/pumpkins, wheat, sweet corn, and flowers Im sure. A mix of a lot of things.

Thanks for clarifying. I'm going to have to stick with my original thought. Forget the disk buy a 6 ft tiller. It would be different if you were doing 20 acre fields, a 8 ft disk would be faster but 4 or 5 small plots under an acre each the tiller is just so much more maneuverable.

"For the 2025 growing season we won't have any mechanized planting equipment. That said, I am not too worried about a 100% smooth seed bed like what a field cultivator/chisel plow would leave. However, if I could get a rolling basket behind the disk that would help the leveling some more. "
I just picked up a 84", 7 tine, All Purpose Plow/Chisel/field cultivator/tiller; and although you say you don't Need one; I wouldn't rule on out, if you run across one for the right price. Locally, used 3 point Discs are insanely prices; cause everyone wants one for food plots. This one cost be $100, and a 1h30m drive.

So, if the 8 ft disc is a Smoking deal; you probably can pull it, IF you have it set the least aggressive and/or remove the outer most disc or two from all 4 gangs.
