What do you want for the 8000 and what size bar is on it ?

Mine is a JD yellow version 800V. It has a tightened up squish and a little carb work done, with muffler mod. It flat gets up and cuts. I only use a 24" because no use for bigger around me. Put a poulan 4200 hand-guard on it, because the echo hand guard mount broke. Not a chain brake version, earlier one. Know the guy that bought it new and traded it in years ago 2010.

Got myself a Echo CS500P 2 years ago, its really a rebranded Shindaiwa 488 _ I had one of those and that was one terrific saw, easy to start and last forever, thats unless it falls off the dump trailer and you go over it like I did .

Also got a CS 6700 last year as trade for 2 cords of firewood, that thing must be 20 years old but still starts and revs like brand new. Echo makes quality but they are also getting up there pricewise, not really a bargain over Husky and Stihl any longer.
