I was thinking backup rings are radiused on one side, flat on the other. Mine look flat on both sides. I did some research and found they could be either way.

My back had been out of wack, that’s why there’s been no progress. I felt up to trying it today, it wouldn’t go together. The piston seal kept hanging up, I’m hoping this’ll compress it back to the size it’s supposed to be. I have aluminum from a beverage can between seal and hose clamp, so the seal won’t be damaged.

Cylinder is back on and not leaking, I couldn’t use it though. I didn’t bring enough hydraulic fluid, the steer tank is too low. I’ll put it to use next time.

Well, this is about ready to use. We put the one cylinder back together up there, and installed the other one. Then we put on the hoses. Still need to grease the pins, and look at clamping the hoses in place. I remember there being clamps, I’ll look at pictures.

All this time I thought the air horn had a line leak near the horn, last time I had someone step on the horn button while I was at the air horn. There’s air coming out of the horn where it’s supposed to, just greatly reduced I guess. Maybe just clean it?

Bad diaphragm at the back of the horn maybe? Take out the screws and check if it has a tear or is stuck with rust

I’ll check it. I can’t see inside the horn, because of how they’re mounted. I was hoping that’s what it is, but could be internal.

The throttle was still sometimes sticking at full throttle, I put on the bigger of the two springs I bought last time around. Now it doesn’t stick.
