email alerts

Didn't we used to have email alerts?

( when a thread is replied to that you have posted..)

I don't see them any more.. or am I confusing this with another forum?

Chris, I'm still getting the e-mail alerts every day.

Possibly this is of some help ... found at the bottom of each email alert,

"There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more
notifications until you visit the forum again."

Take it literally. If you're not logged in all day everyday, you won't get alerts to all replies.

I get them sporadically here. Other forums I've been on notify you of every reply if you want them to.

I havn't got an email alert.. um.. this year....

I just checked my email 'deleted' directory.. none...

I check in every day and read and post messages.. many times a day...?????

If you want email alerts you must edit your profile. Go to MY HOME and then to your options and set the Default Thread Subscription Mode to the option that you want.

I have email alerts from last year in my deleted email folder.. weird...

VERY ODD.. I checked my profile and it is set to 'instant email alerts' and same for PM.. email alerts.

I wonder why I'm not getting alerts... very weird..

Do you have an anti-spam filter on your e-mail system?

Yes, however my spam mail folder doesn't have any TBN messages in it.. only emails like:

bank president from nigeria that wants to split 3mil dollars with me
pills to make my uh... ---- grow
pills to make my ---- stay that way for a few hours
etc...

I DO recieve the email notice alerts from the 5 other boards that I have set to send alerts. I get them every few minutes.. but none from TBN...

I have mentioned this before. But no one replied to the thread. I guess it can not be changed to like it was with the old forum.

I'm sorry, I didn't explain myself well... not your personal spam folder... does your company have an anti-spam filter that could be catching it and preventing it from getting to you at all? For instance, at my company, we have an anti-spam system that kills 98% of the e-mail before the users even see it. Sometimes, something triggers it to kill good stuff.

No.. no company email screener.. just my personal one, and the one at AT&T. I check my AT&T spam filter folder every day..

Still getting -0- alerts.
