Pending the ability to ride share on the local mule. Truly, you hear banjo's, Take your pretty smile and get the F out of town.

When we were down in that area, pretty much any gift shop had "paddle faster I hear banjos" t-shirts. My kids did not understand and I wasn't going to explain it to them.

Don't know how long it's been since you were in Tazewell but be prepared it's not anything like it was I work in the area some. If I was hauling the valuable stuff you are I would have my tank full of fuel and wouldn't think about stopping till I was at least 70 miles west or northwest of Charleston wv.

I haven't been there for 4 or 5 years, but I passed through at least once a month for at least ten years before that. I would have been OK with sleeping in a car in the PT/CLA parking lot or the little town park with the caboose for all of that time. I generally had the impression that Tazewell County folks subscribed to the 3S approach to dealing with thieves. Has it gone downhill that fast?

We ended up heading out there earlier and met up with Chris and Terry this morning. I have to say, seem like some great guys. The showroom was pretty amazing. I told Terry that he holds legendary status among the members on the forum here.

Now, I had never actually seen a PT in person. Pardon my language here but talk about a "holy ****" moment. I know you guys have said how rugged these things are but I had no idea.

Talk about a BEAST. Unbelievably impressed.

They went through every attachment with me, the maintenance, let me run one for a bit. Got the trailer all loaded up and tucked away for the night. Way beyond exceeded my expectations.

He told us to check out the "Seven" restaurant for food, which was very tasty. The "hotel" on the other hand leaves a bit to be desired but was fine.

Overall, totally worth the trip out here and I'm glad I didn't just have it shipped. On a side note, if anyone is heading out here, I can tell you what route to definitely not take. Talk about a white-knuckled last leg of the journey. We will be taking another route out of here.
