I'm glad you got it going and I'm glad it was a simple fix.

Don't forget to put a Racor 120AT on it.

I also want to put a better water filter on my pump setup. I currently have a Baldwin BF1212, which is probably just fine for clean fuel, but I'd really like something with a clear bowl so I can monitor what's in there.

Any suggestions? I'd like to keep the same base, which is a 1-14 base.

Glad she's running.. it could have gotten pricey.
Do a search for Racor filters.. they have a small one w/ hand primers and heaters & water sensors..
Ford, Perkins, Massey Ferg. have some w/ plastic/glass bowls..

Based on input from several threads, including this one, I'm going to use the Racor 120 on the tractor. I would like something bigger with a bowl for my fueling system.

Yes, I got off easy.

I've ordered a Racor 120 from racordiscounts.com It's half the price of Amazon!

I'll post some pictures of the installation when I get it done.

I also ordered a 3 pack of the Baldwin 1212 filter for my pump, but I'd still like to find a compatible filter with a clear bowl for the pump.
