Re: Getting ready to do some hoggin\'
I think the chains on my new Woods Brush Bull 720 ran about $250. Ordered the hog without 'em but it came through with 'em. The dealer offered to take them off but asked a second time if I wanted them. I thought back a year earlier when my old 5' Dixiecutter picked up a rock, hurled it past my shoulder and into a tree 4 feet in front of the tractor. The thing hit with a heckuva crack and I never saw the rock. Just heard the 'Bang' at the cutter and the 'Crack' at the tree. Decided the $250 was cheap and paid it.
The chains sure makes that hog look mean /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.
