Is this the cast iron with flat lid to bake on the lid?

No, it has a knob. Just pulled it out of ce hole and it is the 3-1/2qt size, currently on the stove with some water, baking soda, and detergent, on low heat to loosen up the residue.

I have two vintage NACCO Dutch ovens that have the flat lid that can be used as a griddle though…

Happy birthday to Kilroy's mom!

I had to take my 94 years young mom to ER for fluid in her lungs. We are Awaiting X-ray results. On O2, she's up to 92. On hurried trip back to her hometown, she was down to 73 O2.

Don on a worrisome tightrope with a bum knee. Glad it ended well. Don the price of the house and land is probably 85%land. So don't sweat it too much.

Son started coming down with a cold. No fever so far a day into it.

I get to see these blackbird clouds darting around and know I'll be trying to count the birds in 6 packs.

Billy, glad wifey got to come home for a night. Hope things get better soon.

Not how we planned Thanksgiving, but still so much to be thankful for.

Yep, the VIOFO has it all. I just didn't list them. And the picture quality is unmatched within the price range. That's why I upgraded from the 119 to the 129 Duo. Dashcam Viewer has a huge list of compatible cameras/systems. You can view the videos with a lot of software including Windows Media Player. They're simply MP4 files. But you don't get the map or combined view of front/rear cameras. I've found it entertaining to watch some of the near misses and happenings going on around me while out and about. You don't always catch them while driving in traffic. And most certainly not the ones behind you.

No evidence that I ever had the Honda generator hooked up for autostart via the current system.

To the best of my knowledge, Honda never made a generator capable of unattended remote starting.
I once converted a GX620 to propane and made auto start controls for it.
The biggest challenge was a signal to tell it the start was complete. Oil pressure came up too quick, was there before start was complete, same with flywheel alternator output. Ended up using the output of the generator that it was running. That also locked out the starter if it was running.

That’s the long way of saying that it probably didn’t auto start.

Morning all, 45 going to 57 and cloudy. Got a little under 2" of rain yesterday.
Got the "seating" from the firepit moved out, tractor certainly makes this fast.

Got the name of a specialist from my very good heart Dr. Will try getting an appointment asap.

After Dr. went shopping to pick up more veggies and some stuff for Thanksgiving.

Unknown what i will do today.

Good Morning
It’s 45 and grey, with a high of 55 as it clears. Rain was over when I woke up, we got a total of 2-1/4” since yesterday afternoon.

Yesterday was a lot of little chores. Biggest accomplishment was getting the zoning variance that I applied for to build my “in law suite”.

Today I’ll do some thanksgiving prep in the kitchen, get the smoker ready to go for tomorrow, I told a friend that I would cook two spatchcocked turkeys for him if he prepped them. So he plans to bring them Thursday morning, I’ll have the smoker fired up and ready.

Not much else to report for today, we’ll see what trouble finds me throughout the day.
