I would say adding ballast to any of these TLB models is probably a good idea, but I have read the part in the manual where it says with the backhoe remove ballast. ONLY thing I could think where it may cause an issue is on the stabilizers / out riggers of the backhoe. It may stress them more.

WOW !!! Great photos. How many hours do you have on that L39?

Dunno?

Maybe 2,300 as it had around 1400 before lightening struck and nearly burned it to the ground.

Hint, get a battery disconnect if you leave it outside.

Homeowners covered it. I think many insurance policies are limited coverage to 26 hp or less. This was about $6000 in damage. A few seconds more it would have been lost.

Thank god My wife saw it at 4:30 AM. Early riser!

I'm not sure I see the connection between lightning and having a battery disconnect.

It was not a direct lightening hit. Surge took out garage door opener light senors , TV audio.

Electrical surge caused a short in the tractor's Control panel. If the battery was disconnected, all that would have been hurt was circuit boards.

Also a Disconnect is a good anti theft /tamper device.
A battery short also took out the towns PW equipment bldg from a truck fire.

Well August 3rd was our 1 year Anniversary of having our M62 in our possession. 671 hours in a year. This is an Awesome Machine. I got to say the biggest dislike is the seat. It sits to high in the back. Makes you feel like you are gonna fall on your face. Maybe when the warranty runs out I will put some smaller risers under the back of the seat. It is really a beast. I would say we use it 50% backhoe and 50% tractor. Best swiss army knife you could have. If I could wish different I would want more power with a air conditioner cab that works both backhoe and tractor.

Even the cows like the M62.
330 gallon tote we fill with water for the water trough in the back pasture. 330 gallons X 8 pounds a gallon = 2,640 lbs minimum. No problem with the M62.

Okay, so this is a shot in the dark but has anyone needed or wanted to check their high pressure or charge pressure relief valves? It really requires a special tool (pn#07916-50045) relief valve pressure tester. As with most mfg. special tool like this one are expensive, this one is $2011.00.

I'm hoping someone has already tackled this issue & come up with a cheaper solution.... Anyone???

I don’t know why you can’t screw a gauge in a loader line and check the pressure there for the cost of a gauge plus an adapter.
