Pretty sure the 1855's all rolled off the same line. Minnie Moline's, Oliver and Cockshutt all on the same line for a while.

Same tractors, cockshutt is canadian build, oliver is US build.Yes, saddle tanks,50 gal all 3 full, one can cut or bale a 1/4 section with fuel to spare.

That vermeer has so many mods, even vermeer himself wouldn't recognise it:D

Peace River country -- beautiful!! Seems like everytime I roll thru theres flock's of geese flying up and down the river and deer thicker than ticks!

Sure is nice to see all those pics from around the country!

Been below zero here for the past week and today it warmed up to around 10-12F and snowed! Really looking forward to green grass again...

Well I can not compete with all the modern equipment, but here is a 2nd week in November picture near sunset when it was unseasonably warm. I was raking up some drought damaged hay for shredding that was not worth baling with a 1950 John Deere A (tractor relativley new to me)and a 1938 John Deere 594 hay rake that I have totally refurbished last year with all new bolts, paint, and homemade bushings where needed (one of two 594's that I have totally refurb'd for my use).

When do you plant? Harvest? One cutting per season or more?
Two cuts is normal but occasionally 3 is possible, Just been too wet through june/july so first cut has been very late the last few years making 3 cuts imposssible.

I assume the farmer that feeds these type bales, tub grind them or have special feed racks? Ken Sweet

We just cut the strings and feed the pieces just like you feed little bales or you can feed in a ring just like a round. Some dairies grind but many just throw the chunks in the TMR mixer.
