Thank you all. I am about to make the plunge on the 3010. This is a heavy thing for me to be doing(losing sleep). I don't know how much of my apprehension is based on forking over the $$ or if it's because I am not making the right financial decision. Seems less stressful to finance at 0%, pay the monthly payments and have the $$ working for me while I pay it off. Not sure if the math is correct but the L2800 @ 16,500.00 if I finance it @ 0% for 36 months. keep the funds in the bank pay the 489.00? monthly cost, gain $1,170.00 in interest by keeping the funds in the bank @ 4.5%. the L2800 would cost 16,500-1,170=$15,330.00 + be new with warranty. But I also would like the better tractor.
Kbota - I tried everything to see if the dealer would budge. Asked if they would give a better price, "no". (I know I can get one for $300.00 cheaper about 60+ miles away), asked for free first service, "no", asked if they would pick it up for free for the first service, "no". Was told it was the best they could do. I do appreciate that the price is the price thou. I hate when I buy a large ticket item to find out my friend/neighbor got a much better price because they were a better negotiators. I did not ask about a 90 day drive train warranty. If I don't go ahead with the 3010 today I see if they will offer it. Thank you for the suggestion. This forum is the greatest thing. I have been reading many many threads and I am so impressed by the wonderful community here.
Thank you all again for your time and help. Like I said before I'll let you all know how it works out and hopefully be able to give back to this community soon.
But in case I don't do it today please keep the thoughts/suggestions coming.
