I have a 2002 B2710 I bought new and have put about 500 trouble free hrs on it. I know around this area if they are in good shape they are asking over 10K. I would have a hard time wanting to sell it even at 12K (not that I could, my wife claimed it after she bought me the L45). It is a good size any acreage or hobby farm.

Nice looking tractor... I always liked the look of these year/model - even before I was in the market for a tractor, I thought they looked alot more "rugged" than the stuff built today.

...I don't need a butt massaging heated seat or self adjusting pedals or anything like that.
Do they even make something like that?! Sign me up

But, position control 3pt, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, clutch pedal controlled PTO, telescoping 3pt arms, telescoping stabilizer bars, etc., are at the top of my list..... There will be those that will scoff at such simple features as telescoping steering wheel. But I tell you from experience, after a couple hundred hours of use things like that become very important.
Couldn't agree with you more. After getting used to those features, I wouldn't want to be without them. And I agree with you about the PTO/Clutch too... I had that on my previous tractor, but not on this one. Seems like all the new tractors are getting away from it. It was nice to be able to "feather" control on the PTO.

Richard, can we say that the 2710 was unmatched as well?

There is a '02 B2710 for sale locally with 600 hours, turf tires and an asking price of $11500.
Looks as if it was left outdoors , rips in seat.
Worth the $11500?

When I purchased my B2710 the only real difference from a B2910 was a few hp and about $1700.00 which is why I ended up with the 2710. The 2910 did have a few extra's like extentable 3pt hitch lower arms and tilt steering (neither of which I needed). I would look around at other tractors and get the features you want. I know I would not want turf tires, had a B7100 with them, could not sell them fast enough.

$11,500 seems high to me for what you describe, but take my input for what it is worth (nothing).

As stated in earlier posts the 2620 is a smaller frame tractor then the 2710 and more of an equivalent to the old 7610 chassis although you have gained the third range.
With going up a chassis size you do gain in tire size and weight as well as the potential of using a 72" mid mount mower vs a 60. The loader as well has more capacity as well as the three point which would be expected.
Life for what we have been seeing in Kubota products with proper care is well past the 5,000 hour mark on these tractors. That on a normal life span figuring 100 hours a year which is high for most users is why they call them lifetime tractors with the easy potential of fifty years of use. We do have high end users which do use there Kubota's more where we see 7,000 to 10,000 hours of use with out any major repairs being needed.

From what I am learning at TBN (thanks) l am leaning towards a B2630 or B2910. They both seem to have good power and features for what I need to do.
There is a 2630 with 250 hours locally- but no FEL.
Asking price is $9500. Not sure if it's worth adding a loader or keep searching for one of these 2 models with one?

The value of an FEL can't be understated. Check into whether you can get one for the 2630. If not, or if it's too expensive, too much hassle, whatever) hold out for one with an FEL; my 2¢.

I agree with Fred. If there's a chance you'll need a FEL (and there is) don't buy a tractor without one.

Do need the FEL. Are you saying to never buy a tractor without one and then add one on? Bad idea to do that?

Loaders are the cheapest with the used tractor! A loader very well might cost you 3,000 to 4,000. for that tractor if you have to buy new. The price with a used tractor is about 1/2 that.

I never say never. I'm just saying, if possible buy what you need in the beginning rather than adding later. Gets expensive to do it that way and you usually end up settling for something less than you really want/need.

I can see that. Adding $4k to the $10 seems to be too high and there is a chance the color won't match and resale could be an issue. Thanks
for all of good advise.

I wouldn't be concerned with adding a loader, as far as functionality & resale.... my only concern would be the cost (as others have mentioned). It will probably cost you quite a bit more to buy a tractor without loader, then add a loader --- than it would to just find a used tractor with a loader already installed. Especially when you have to add the installation cost. There are lots of used tractors with loaders out there. Shouldn't be too hard to find a good used 1. Especially in this size... people are trading them in often with under 300 hrs because they realize they needed something bigger.

What is the opinion of the B2320 model. Just saw on on Craigslist with 54 hours for 12,200.
I was leaning towards the 2630 of 2910 models. Wondering what I would be missing in comparison
on the 2320 and if the HP is adequate?
