Hydraulic cooler on my CK25

The cooler istallation looks good. In the first pic, I wonder if the intake for aircleaner needs to be rotated up away from the battery caps? Sucking battery fumes might shorten the life of your filter canister.

I understand the flex hose set up is about $100.00---my rig is out of warranty with no cooler issue....yet I still think it may be good preventive measure instead of waiting until the cooler breaks and needing both.
It may break, it may never.

This will be my 3rd cooler so I am not the one to make a recommendation, but since your system has worked for you for X numbers of hours you and probably many others do not have the problem that I and a few others have had. If I were in your situation I would wait until something happens and not do anything. I would however keep an eye on the cooler.

My cooler developed a major leak @ 55 hours. I took the CK25 to Group Tractor the Koiti dealer who repaired it. My costs included $100 for getting the tractor to the dealer.
At 205 hours the replaced hydralic became wet with hydraulic oil. I contacted the dealer who told me to contact Kioti for a replacement. After many hours of negoation I have arranged to have the hydraulic cooler replaced with a promise from Kioti that if the part is in fact leaking they will pay the costs of getting my tractor to the Group dealer.
I plan to take the tractor on the 1st week of June and will keep you informed of what happens.
I have been very satisfied with my CK25 but this issue has me wondering if I should have bought another brand.

I want to update all on this problem and how it has been handled. The dealer, Group Equipment, repaired the cooler and installed new flex hoses.
Kioti has agreed to cover the cost of repair.
I have been happy with the way this situation was handled and would recommend Kioti anyone looking for a small tractor.

Glad to hear it. Your "dealer negotiations" started rough but Kioti fixed the problem in ~two weeks, if your first post was the start time.

The cooler on my CK30hst, 175 hours, has started to leak. It started all of a suddden. There is no spray of fluid, just a wet area covering the entire bottom edge. It has leaked enough to collect on the radiator screens also. The dealer has the new cooler and the two flex hoses for the repair. This is the second one he has had to repair. The flex hoses must do the trick because his other customer hasn't had any problems in the past 100 hours since his repair.
For anyone who still has a dry cooler, keep an eye on it. This seems to be a weak spot with the ridgid tubing going to the cooler.

I just ordered set of flex cooler hoses to upgrade mine (from DePratt) they were about $98.00. No leak right now with stock stuff, but I'm gonna swap them anyway. Also have rear remote kit to install and a tilt cylinder w/ hoses.

I'm sure Depratt has you set up with the parts for the hose conversion. I just changed out mine today, new cooler and hoses. The two machined fittings that are attached to the bottom pan, where the lines go through, also need changed. The bottom of the hoses have a different connection than the original steel lines. Just a reminder but John is sure to know and have everything coming your way.
