I read through a few more threads and saw where Jabonee mentioned that by removing the bottom cover plate will expose the port block. Not sure exactly where it needs to be connected to with the hydraulic pump. I did also see where he mentions "stepping on the traction control after setting the direction control lever". I can see how this would allow the hydraulic fluid to flow through the motors and allow the tires to rotate but not really sure about the "step on the traction control" as I though this was simply a switch.
Not sure. This particular TC belongs to a friend of mine and he doesn't know. I'm going to look at it in a few days. I think it was new somewhere around 2007 to 2010 time period.
See new thread "HOW TO MOVE A DEAD TOOLCAT"DEWFPO,
I just went through this entire thread and found something regarding what you are saying on page 36 (Jabonee). I didn't completely understand where this would be connected. It sounds like this will release the brakes but I'm not sure it will allow the motors to rotate due to the fluid not being able to flow. If that is the case then the tires will still skid. Maybe Jabonee will see this and elaborate.
Show pictures when you get it off. I was wondering where the wires for the safety beacon would be.Has anyone removed the black plastic hood/visor at the top/front of the cab that houses the 4 off-road/work lights? I am installing a magnetic rotating beacon and side work lights and want to run the wiring into that covering and down the A pillar to the dash. Has anyone done this? Any tips or pitfalls?
Thanks, DEWFPO
Check cab fuse F10. Switch relay with another. Switched power relay R1 powers the F/R lever. Also are all electrical items working with key on? ( heater fan, lights, etc.)Thanks, I will check the fuses again.
How would I check the relays?
