JD 2305 vs. BX24

just came from the kubota dealer
he quoted me 15,500 for bx 24 tlb

Yes but, you can get basically the same tractor by going with a BX2350 with a FEL

he didnt say but i doubt it, i told him i was unde the impression that the bx24 was pushing up to 20k and he said "WHAT" its the same as yours basically, we are getting 15,500 to 16000.

I think that if I would have got a price like yours I would have already bought the BX24. I was getting close to $20K with MMM and snowplow. Now I am in a state of compulsive tractor comparision and shopping. I am thinking a little big bigger for the time being. I am sure that time will change my mind yet again. The B7610 and the 2320 are the interesting ones now. $2000 seems to be the price difference between the smaller and larger models in both the green and orange. One specs a little different here and there but I think they are pretty comparable.

I think that if you combine green and orange you get brown, ANYBODY MAKE A BROWN TRACTOR??

What is the next smallest tractor after the BX models that Kubota makes?

The B series is next in line. The 7xxx series would be the next price jump up.

drive down to oklahoma and by my bx23 with 300 hrs ill sell it for 12,500 still under warranty and allready has a tooth bar. thats got to save ya some bucks even with todays gas prices

Still undecided here, but went to check out a MF 2310 just for kicks. Neat little machine. Had soem time on my hands and I decided to make a little comparison sheet so I can keep track of what is what. If there are errors please excuse them and tell me so I can fix them. I omitted prices so the next slub that comes along can fill in their own when they are shopping. If anyone can fill in any blank spots I would appreciate that also.

You did good by adding the MF to the comparison. I don't have a dog in this fight as I own a NH 1720. If I were in your shoes I would buy the one I liked best and then get the best deal on that unit. Those three machines are so close in specifications it's pretty much a wash. If I had no preference to color of machine then it is PURELY a cost decision. But, I must reinterate, if you like one of the machines better than the other, buy that machine even of it cost a little more. You'll never be happy with the lower cost unit.
