Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

Looks good Jim. Should be able to get her closed up in no time if we would ever get some consistent sunshine. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

The wife and I were just talking about that last. Looks like I'll probably end having to take some time off work, because it seems like the only sun we get is during the week /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I'm not sure about getting the sides closed in. The price of OSB just keeps going up...up....up.. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif It was $17.39 when I was at Lowes Monday, last night is was $18.39. I'm going to go take another look at the Hardi-panel thread....... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Wooohoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif the roof is finally finished. Worked our (Dad & myself) butts off today but we finally finished it. It was too dark by the time I got everything picked up tonight, but I'll try to get a couple of shots tomorrow. Ended up being just under 20 square. I have 2 sq. to take back tomorrow, I still have a bundle & half in case of repairs. Man I'm so glad that is done. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Boy am I glad that's done! Seems like I've been waiting six months to get to this point. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Guess I'll take a break today to celebrate. I know from past experience how good the feeling of getting the roof finished is...

Congratulations on reaching this milestone! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

Here is a view of the south side - complete with all of my "junk" that has already managed to find a place under the roof. You'll have to watch my pond thread to see why I didn't work on this more yesterday.

Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

Here is a close-up view of the south side including the ridge vent that I used. You can even see the little bits of tar paper left on the roof from where we had to remove some of it because it had wrinkled so bad. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
