Is anyone using the King Canopy to cover their tractor? I just got back from Sam's Club and they have a 20x10 King Canopy for $198. It's house shaped and has fabric walls.

I've been looking at the Cover-It units, but they are VERY slow to return my e-mails?!? The one response I did get from them showed the shipping to be $125 to my location, that with the "special" web price of $399 puts me at over $500 for the unit. Sure would be a lot cheaper to go with the King Canopy unit. ALmost cost the same as the shipping on the Cover-It! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I don't use the King Canopy for my Kubota (at least not yet), but I have been using one for my fathers pontoon boat for about 5 years. The one they have at Sams now is even nicer than the one I have. I have the smaller dia. poles that came with just the top. I purchased end tarps and cheap side ones to totally enclose.

We use it for the winter here in NY. They don't recommend it for snow loads, but I weave rope between the poles on the top to create 2' squares and make sure we pull the snow off during heavy snow falls.

It has been well worth the $179 I spent at the time, and the new ones with the 2" poles and all 4 ends are definately worth the $199.

I will be using mine for the Kubota this winter if I don't get the shed addition done as the wife already told me that my vehicle will be outside if I have the Kubota in the garage!!!!

Heres a picture that shows the unit in the background.

We use one for the Boyscouts as a dining fly.
We also have all the sides and the boys haven't hurt it in over 2 years.
It was a GREAT asset camping in a 30hr long rain in the WV New River Gorge last summer. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Make some kind of anchors to tie it down from the top so it doesn't blow over.

Two positives, no negatives! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Sounds like a good investment.

No snow worries here in Texas (least not in my part). Wind can get breezy at times, but generally not over 40 or so MPH - and then for only a short while. I think I'll give it a shot. It's "suppose" to be temporary until we can get a proper shed/workshop/barn built. But you know how those temporary things go.

Thanks for the replies!
