My sentiments also, but one has to start some place. Then you bring your findings here and then everyone weighs in on their feelings. Am I correct???

I have a 95' L-35 Kubota with backhoe and 18'' bucket that weighs 6000" with no ballast.

Yikes, 5500lbs. being hauled around by what is basically a B7610 engine.

The underlying tractor is a B2630, not a B7610.

I still see weights listed at 4001 lbs with loader, hoe, tires, water in the radiator, foam seat cushion, air in the tires etc. When looking at it, it looks like 4001 lbs soaking wet. Unless Kubota is using 1/4" plate for the fenders and hood, 4001 lbs. may be pushing it. I could see maybe 3998.7 lbs.

I believe if you look at the specification for the tractor and tractor only you will see it listed as the 4001#'s you then need to add the bucket and BH to that weight. Whoops my mistake it does list with loader, BH and both OPS. Don't know where Carver got there weight in their specifications???? It appears someone is wrong. Oh well onto another subject.

I'm just going by Carver's spec. sheet, guys. If it's wrong, then comparing the B26 to the B21 is a waste of time.....maybe it is anyway. It just seems that lugging 5500 + lbs. of iron might challenge a 68.5 cu. in. engine. 4000 lbs. would make sense.

5500 lbs. seems like a lot to me too; but I don't know how it's built.

For those of you that may not have seen the following site you will enjoy it. It is the new just released on the Kubota web site showing all the new specifications. Now one can see the individual weights of the different things such as the BT802 BH weighs in at 970#'s with the 18" bucket. After reviewing this, I believe we all will have some good and bad comments. To me "I want one".
