The other way to do it is to just just pick the dealer you feel best with, show him competitive bids, and pay his price. My guess that that over the life of the tractor that doing it that way will save money.

I paid 57k for 4in1, 24 and 12" buckets, rear hydraulic kit, out rigger pads, and cylinder guards, a secret kill switch, case of (greaSE), two hats and a cool jacket.

That Kill switch/battery disconnect is a good idea!
About 5 years ago, my L39 nearly was seconds from a total loss. Nearby lighting strike shorted out a circuit board in the instrument cluster. I got to it with a fire extinguisher just as the rear tire started to light up.

A mouse can chew through a wire and cause short also, so I use my Kill switch parked inside or out.

Homeowner Insurance covered it. Make sure if you use homeowner insurance get a rider to cover the size and HP. With Homeowner insurance, forget commercial work.

About $6K to fix.

That Kubota insurance is good. Read the fine print. If you use your tractor, and damage occurs, they fix it like new.

Peter.

Make sure your insurance company understands that it is an L47. Plus send them the specs on the tractor and get your company to send written confirmation that it is covered.
Also.
You can't do commercial work under homeowners.

Understand the fine print.

PS If your company covers this as part of the Homeowner Policy, please PM me who your insurance is through.

I believe homeowners policies only cover tractor on your property.
