Were you able to use the same bolts? I'm picking up a piece of scrap plate Monday and going to do the same. Thanks for the idea.

HI Rich, I used longer bolts and put nuts and washers on the back side.

On the L45 the bumper is bolted to the sides of the frame not the front as yours appears to be. As mentioned earlier I just welded hooks to the side of the bumper but I noticed a month or so ago that one of the bolts holding the bumper had sheared so I must have overtightened the load binders securing the front of the tractor on one occasion. The other possibility is that I wanted to bring my grapple with me the last time I moved the tractor and since there wasn't room in the trailer I strapped them down on the forks and perhaps a little bit of bouncing in transit broke the bolt. I am going to replace the 14mm Kubota bolts with 9/16" L9 which should are stronger and be more careful when tightening down the tractor.

So nice and new, but you forgot to attach some 1-1/2 x 3 channel as wings to protect the tie rods from rocks and stumps and a 2" receiver for a hitch. Did I miss anything else?

I need to add expanded metal to my guard.
