I agree and may have to send you some PM's to pick your brain on how your B3030 works for you.
There have been a number of times where I would definitely have been able to use an L3430 with LA723 outfitted with pallet forks to move units of lumber around the jobsite, and to get large new trees off the truck and into their holes. For example, when offloading some 13' blue spruce trees with a rented JD110 TLB, I felt the back end lift up when raising the FEL with just one tree in it. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
But then there were the times that I was backfilling and finish grading to maintain positive drainage away from the foundation, and had to do it around a bunch of deck piers, or the times I was excavating part of a garage under roof to add more foundation. While doing the work with my SubCompact, I was thinking that something the size of the B3030 would be aboout as big as I could use, especially when so much of it is during renovation projects, and I can't have a big machine tearing up existing landscaping.
I know that there will be plenty of times if I end up with a B3030 that I will wish I had the bigger L3430. But I also know those many times that the L3430 is just way too big to get where I need it to, and I have to do it by hand, will have me kicking myself too. What would probably work out the best for me would be to have a BX24 AND an L3430 or 4330 with backhoe, but since I don't have that much disposable income, I'm going to have to make some concessions. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
