I thought, (like you), that propane would be cheaper overall from the company I was leasing the tank from. What I found out was just the opposite... after I purchased the tank, the same company I purchased it from offerred me a lower per gallon delivered rate than if I was leasing! I also could shop other propane dealers to get the lowest rate (they would not sell to me before when I was tied in to a leased tank). Also, I think you mean that you can purchase a 100 lb. tank for $85, not a 100 gal. tank. If you know somewhere to purchase 100 gal. tanks for $85, then I am interested!

Well I got a REPRIEVE on the paint change. We put a 1'x1' square on the wall and she did not like it afterall. And of course I AGREEDED! Then spent most of the weekend painting the bathrooms. I am going to wait on the final coat until most everything is finished. Already getting a few scratches and such on the walls from workers.

Not sure about buying or leasing the tank but I'll check it out.

I'll be out of town for a few days. Have to fly into New Orleans today see a couple of customers and drive to Jackson Mississippi and see a couple more and fly home Wednesday night. So I will not be able to post since I leaving my LapTop and taking my BlackBerry. I can read TBN from the Blackberry but that key board is so small it would take me a hour just to type a reply .

I think that answers the questions I asked David about. I was wondering if there were special precautions needed when burying a tank.

If one doesn't want to bury the tank, I always thought about building a screening wall or fence around the tank...if I was using propane instead of natural gas.
