What you quoted was a perfect example of my fingers not being able to keep up with my thoughts..and nothing more!
ummm OK, so we shouldn't take anything you post as being your actual thoughts?

But hey, I've gone back and reread a post of mine and thought "what was I try'n to say", course if anyone calls me out on it I've come clean.....
Seems a lot of owners of BX's give the IMPRESSION that a Kubota BX is one step down from a Cat D9 or something?? Whether a BX can PHYSICALLY do a job..doesnt mean it was ever INTENDED to do certain tasks..PERIOD! No amount of crying or whining or chest beating is going to change the FACTS.
Man whatta stretch

A D9?

Facts are that whether or not the BX TLB with it's FEL & BH and 3PH was designed to, ahem, work like a small tractor, it actually DOES!

And theres actual pics here of it doing more than it's little size belies. The BX is already Kubota's largest selling machine, which makes it the largest selling machine on the USA.
Apparantly it was intended to do quite a bit as evidenced by Kubota's decision to mount an FEL & BH on it!
Even you've gotta admit that thats some highly unusual implements to mount on a little mowing machine......
If the testimonials & pics of many BX TLB owners on this forum can't open your eyes then my friend, you are more than welcome to continue to see things in your selective tunnel vision

Just do us a favor and try to refrain from telling us that our machines can't do what we've been makeing them do

For every one else, the BX TLBs are nice little tractors that can do alot of tractor work besides mowing, and I approved this message
By the way, the rear discharge on the MMM is great, you can mow up close to anything on either side of the tractor and don't have to worry about the shoot. Save alot of time.
My Wheel Horse has a RDM and to tell you the truth, I don't like the clippings it leaves all over the rearend.
A couple advantages of the SDM that I take advantage of are the ability to use my Cyclone Rake to collect clippings for my compost pile and with the gatorblades I can side discharge into my next row and basically have a mulcher when I want too.
As for triming on either side, I do just fine trimming on the right side and don't have the need to change.
One trip to the lumber yard = 1 hour
Unloading from trailer = 15 seconds (five sheets of 3/4 and lots of 2x4's)
With my DX = priceless
With a BX = nonsense
Thats a fine looking shop and tractor but I from the looks of those tires, I wouldn't want that machine finish mowing my front yard. I'm sure my old Ferguson TE20 weighs about what your 33 did and it's R1's would leave marks all over my yard, especially when it was wet.
As for the lumber, hey, two trips w/the BX would have handled it and neither I nor it would be worse for it.
Hardly nonsense
Hey escavader, don't pay these fellows too much mind, they're bent on telling you that the things you've done with your
BX23 was impossible and that even though you've posted pics and posts detailing what you've done, that your
BX23 wasn't intended to do it so it must not have done it

Amazing ain't it
Volf, enjoy you puddle/pond Just kidding. Do you have any other pics or are you still working on it. I'd like to see the finished product when done.
It's been done for two seasons now. It's about 4' deep and supports some snappers, crayfish, toads and miniows.
I just snapped the pic from my deck but it's turning dark so perhaps you can make it out. Oh and a long jumper will have to be VERY good to clear it
