Taiser,

I think you'll be pleased with the choice. Here's a couple more pics of what a little larger tractor makes possible.

Building Floor for shed
10' x 16' shed floor - Treated 2x6/16" OC - 3/4" plywood floor. This chunk of lumber was heavy and was able to lift it with ease. I used the forks to turn it upside down. Attached three 16' - 4x4 posts with lag bolts to bottom for runners, then used the forks to flip it back right side up and begin on the walls.

Flipping back over

Next time I'll wait to nail down the plywood. The plywood made flipping the floor back over a little tricky.

Timber,

I post some pics of the place late tonight. I took some today but just have to get into photoshop to resize them.

The BX23 WAS the best choice for me.
I had a larger tractor and a smaller L&G tractor that I was using to maintain the property so I knew what I was looking for when I decided to consolidate both into one machine with an FEL at a minimum.

I went back & forth between the BX2230 and the B7510 as well as testing out the B7610 & B2410. Price wasn't the primary determiner (is that a word?) just one of many.

Since finish mowing was priority #1 I used that as the main focus but I also wanted a machine that would do more than mow and work 3PH implements. I also needed to carry material around and be able to dig and keep my fence rows cleaned out.
The BX23 fits it to a T.
I don't doubt that it would work out with more acreage. That said, if the more acreage was open field then yes it'll cut 8 acres as well as any other sized machine slinging a 60" cut mower. I would argue that since it has a fully suspended deck that the MMM would require alot less maintenance as well as outlast a ground contact mower.
If the extended acreage was woods that I intended to thin or work in then I would have went with a B series that would have gave me more ground clearance.

Thing is, the BX is Kubota's best mowing tractor and they've increased it's I starte out usefulness by equipping it with an FEL & BH that'll work for the vast majority of suburban /estate landowners. Many of whom push it's envelope which not surprisingly it handles very well :D

I started out intending to buy The B2410.
Didn't even know there was such a thing as a BX23 until I went to the dealer to price the 2410.
After that it was a 2 0r 3 month battle back and forth between the 2 before I decided on the Bx23.
My only regret ~ I couldn't have both of them!

BX 24 CANADIAN RETAIL
24500 CANADIAN DOLLARS

BX24 US RETAIL
15500 USD
1.15 EXCHANGE RATE US TO CAD
17825 CANADIAN DOLLARS

so we save 6675 canadian dollars to buy the bx 24 into the us market if you are from Canada.
Some people tell that if you are Canadian and you buy into the us market you will loose the warranty. My point is that even if you loose the warranty you save a lot? Second why there is such a difference between the canadian retail pricing and the us retail pricing?
By the way Taiser are you still looking to by your bx into the us market?

sorry for the previous post hope this one will clarify
Alain
