Well it got here in one piece

just before supper. Got the walk through with all the features and took her to the back forty for a good test drive (which is not like the dealers lot). Only got about .2 hours on it but managed to try the loader and backhoe out real quick. First impressions...
WAYYYYYY smoother ride than the
BX24 I tried, must be the bigger tires. Even over some rough areas wasn't much of a bounce, suspended seat is also pretty comfy, but it seams made out of regular seat material like on my Cub, hope it lasts a while without ripping.
Much quieter than I thought (dealer area was between buildings), with no building echoing the engine was really quiet, didn't expect that for a tractor with such a small muffler.
TONS of power, ground here is fairly frozen but I could still dig a small hole with no problem and driving with engine just above idle gave plenty of speed in medium gear. I made a beeline straight into the bush and it snapped all the spruces (frozen) no problem, popping them out of the ground next summer should be no problem.
Was dark by the time I got back so I couldn't take pictures. One thing I've heard and agree with is it REALLY DOES needs better lighting. I'll be looking at lighting options soon, speaking of which...
Does anybody know how to tell which alternator is installed on the machine? The one I have is gray like the engine so I imagine I have a standard one but I can't find the amp specs in the book, anyone know what they are? Don't think it will be a problem to fire an extra couple of light off of it, but would be nice to know.

Well, at least maybe you can dig your way out of that one now that you have a Back Hoe. Ha Ha.
Congratulations.
Thanks, the wife shouldn't complain though, she got a car just two years ago. I never buy new cars, usually a year or two old, so she can't figure out why I'd buy this brand new. I told her vehicles we buy usually don't get kept for 25 years and to keep it that long I'd rather break it in myself
