The problem I have with the COSTCO LED's from the B&M is the extra cost of the add on's. Last time I also bought 2 bags of walnuts, 2 large plastic totes, and a bag of pecans. AND I WAS BY MYSELF! If SWMBO had been along it would have cost at least $200 more, mainly in groceries.
I have T8 bulbs in the barn (2 bulb "Cold Weather" fixtures from Lowes). Two of them about 15' apart in a 12x24 bay (middle section of a post and beam barn) are nowhere near as bright as 3 20w 6000k LED floods mounted ~14 feet apart in a 30x40 pole barn.Is that a T8 LED vs T12 Fluorescent? or a T5 LED vs a T8 Fluorescent?
I can see there is a big difference between T8-and T12 fluorescent.
Still cannot get over the lumens per watt of LED vs T8 fluorescent. Dont think there is much to gain going from T8-high output fluorescent with mirror reflector to a LED's

These are the floods: LEÂ20W Super Bright Outdoor LED Flood Lights, 200W Halogen Bulb Equivalent, Waterproof, 1500lm, Daylight White, 6000K, Security Lights, Floodlight - - Amazon.com
For comparison, here is the light from 2 of the 20w LED fixtures (one is ~4' in from the car wall and 6' past the right edge of the picture, the other is ~8' behind the camera):

Will you put them all on one switch or alternate?
I am not sure it will be focused enough, they are a pretty wide angle light. Two of the 10 watt versions (LE® 10W LED Flood Lights, LED Outdoor Lighting, 100W Halogen Bulb Equivalent, 700lm, Waterproof, 6000K Daylight White, LED Security Light, Floodlight, Pack of 3 Units - - Amazon.com) have a wider beam than 3 PAR38 floodlights.Aaron, I wonder how the 20 watt LED lights would work to night light my flags on two 30' flag poles? They are supposed to be waterproof.

They would probbaly work if you could mount them on the top.

Could give them a shot, worse case, you send them back or use them as floodlights elsewhere. My plan is for ground mount lights pointing up.

I'm anxious to see my 24x30' workshop when I take out my 6 double 2' 1" flourescents and put in 8 costco LED fixtures. Should be coming soon/

I used two of the screw in plugins, ran extension cord to extend beyond the door edge, into a receptacle box to hold a LED spot light on each side of the door, which is very helpful lighting the shop while the door is open.Has anyone tried using one of the Costco or Sam's fixture as a "plug-in" on a garage door opener? Our openers currently have a feeble incandescent that lights a little bit between the power head and the door, but the remaining 40 ft to the basement door stays quite dark. I was thinking of just using one of these

and plugging it in. Is the current draw of the LED fixtures in the same ballpark as an incandescent bulb or two? I once tried CFLs in a GDO, but the current draw was too low to properly cycle what was evidently a thermal timer circuit - the CFL never turned off!
I guess even if the current draw is very low, one of these

along with an incandescent would work.
