I got county records. Not sure if they are 100% accurate. Eventually I'll have to backhoe. Before doing that, I just wanted to have a pretty good idea of where it is. I'll eventually talk to a builder, find out what type of setup back I'll need for a barn, decide on size, and then confirm where the field is before taking any action. For now it's just a pie-in-sky idea to build a barn, so it's possible it will never happen and I'll never bother confirming where the field is.
