I don’t think the Honda puts off much if any available electric for powering a light. You might use a deep cycle battery that you take off to charge. Second option is a generator. I do most of my splitting under a cover and I put up four 300 watt light bulbs. View attachment 627571

This might be a good project for all the free blue LED lights from harbor freight!!!! just rig up 5 or 6 or them!

I added about 30 inches on my splitter tongue so I could keep it hooked to the truck and load the truck. I知 considering counter balancing the back because it痴 too heavy to lift the front by myself. View attachment 627570

You could just put a tongue jack on the tongue.

I have an electric start log splitter, 15hp out of a lawn mower. I debated adding a light pole to it but a good head lamp works just as good. I also have a 3 bulb flood light thats got a normal 120v plug on it. Basicly makes for a portable lamp post. Screw it on trees, my garage or just zip tie or on anything. Just need 120v power.

Same light last year while i was doing my garage roof after the time change and after work. The most enjoyable time to do roof work is when its nice and crisp.

There’s plenty of cordless work lights ranging from free to hundred of dollars. I won’t buy any non rechargeable lights. I’ve got a dewalt one that I like because it runs almost forever on a battery charge. I might pick up a second one.
