Lubricating Tool

Ok... I finally got a battery powered grease gun and I can't believe the difference it makes. It takes me no more than 10 minutes to grease up the loader/backhoe B2320. The tool was not cheap... 170 bucks for a milwaukee 12 volt set up, but I can't regret it one bit. For those of you still using manual grease guns, don't hesitate to upgrade. You will not regret it. This is one of the most overdue and best purchases I've made. It actually makes the process fun. .

Congrats on your new purchase. How did you decide on a Milwaukee? Does DeWalt also make one? Where did you buy it through? I've been thinking of getting one for quite awhile.... but need some more equipment first to justify the grease gun! haha.

I read the reviews on this unit and it seemed to be a good choice. I have several milwaukee tools and I have never been disappointed. Can't say that about a few dewalt items.

I have a manually operated grease gun. I will add this in regards to the dependability of Milwaukee tools. I have a Milwaukee circular saw that I bought new around 1981. I still have and use this saw. Except for a frayed cord and blade replacements, this saw has served me well. No complaints at all.

I'm cheap...just a manual Alemite pump gun. Supposedly puts out 10,000 PSI grease pressure which is more than their $350 18v gun. And a lot lighter weight.

An air- or battery-powered gun would be nice if I had dozens of grease zerks to service every day. But I don't. Just a mower deck and zerks on the drive wheels of my trimmer mower.

$350 that is pretty high. With that money I could buy another implement, besides I consider greasing the Big Orange some quality one-on-one time with me and the tractor.
